1.      The Author feels that the government should raise the minimum wage so people less fortunate may better support their families as stated in the early part of the essay.

2.      Author states that minimum wage was raised and used quotes along with citations to further support the author’s findings.

3.      Author feels such as a need for a raise in minimum wage that there is no counter argument.

4.      By using many sources and exceptional citing the author expressed thoroughly a need for a change in minimum wage.

5.      The author assumes that the reader knows the economy and understands that the economy is in fact struggling and using general words like “there is” and “in this day” the targeted audience isn’t necessarily any one in particular but those whom have had trouble with the economic struggle in general.
